February 2011: Quintain Consulting attending BIT Annual World Congress
Dr Bob Irving has been invited to chair a session at the inaugural Beijing Institute of Technology World Congress of NanoScience and Technology. The conference will be held at the World Expo Centre in Dalian, China on 23-26 October 2011 and will cover all aspects of nano-developments. In addition to chairing the Nanosensors and Nanoprobes session, Bob is also a member of the conference Advisory Panel.

January 2011: Quintain Consulting Client awarded $50,000 STIUP Voucher
Quintain Consulting has been successful in assisting BioDetectors to secure $50,000 from the Small Technologies Industry Uptake Program. STIUP, developed by the Victorian State Government, provides opportunities for Victorian businesses to use small technologies in new products, processes and services. The voucher awarded to BioDetectors will be used to further develop the companies diagnostics platform MultiView, using the facilities and services provided through Melbourne Centre for Nanofabrication. BioDetectors has retained the services of Quintain Consulting for continued management and coordination of the technical program.
